The actual design for a bridge in China
Forget about monotonous hanging bridges or arch structures, an ambitious group of architects are planning to build one of the world's largest man-made wavy river bridge in China.
The massive structure will serve as a pedestrian bridge across the river, "the Harbour of the dragon king", this bridge will be developed by NEXT Architects. The new bridge will complement the beautiful landscape administrative center of Changsha, and Park in the area.
"The design of crossing the bridge are based on the principle of a möbius Strip," said Michael Steinmacher on the website NEXT. "If you look on the other side, the bridge is more reminiscent of the Chinese knot, which takes its roots from the ancient scenery of Chinese folk art," added John van de Water.
China enjoys the reputation of being memorable designs, so it is impossible that the bridge is not remembered.
